Everything you've ever wanted to know about puppy yoga — and a few things you didn't know you needed to ask. Don't see your question? Drop us a line and we'll get back to you faster than a puppy hears a treat bag open.
Nope — and that's by design! We're not breeders — we're just here for the yoga and the joy, so there's never a sales agenda in the room. Most of the puppies in our classes already have loving homes or families lined up. That means zero pressure: no guilt, no "should we take one home?" conversations in the parking lot, no worrying about where the puppies go after class. You get all of the snuggles and none of the strings. Just pure, uncomplicated puppy joy.
And if class does leave you dreaming of a dog of your own, you're welcome to work with one of our vetted breeders — an ethical breeder will have you fill out adoption paperwork and thoughtfully match you with a puppy. Or we'd love to point you toward our friends at Coco's Heart Dog Rescue — supporting rescue is close to our hearts.
Our puppies come from a small circle of vetted, ethical breeder partners we know and trust. We ask the hard questions, and we only work with breeders who raise their litters with the same care we'd want for our own dogs. Socialization experiences like puppy yoga are actually great for young puppies — they go home more confident, people-loving, and ready for their families. You can meet our partners on our Featured Breeders page.
We never sell, broker, or facilitate the sale of animals — we're here for the yoga and the cuddles, full stop.
That's half the fun! We feature a rotating cast of unique and beloved breeds — recent and upcoming stars include French Bulldogs, Dachshunds, Dalmatians, Labrador Retrievers, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Each event page tells you which breed is featured, and our email list gets first word when a new litter is on our puppy radar. Have a favorite breed you'd love to see at a class? Let us know and we'll do our best to find the best breeder in the area.
The best pup-to-person ratio in the game. We adjust our class sizes to make sure everyone gets plenty of puppy love — and if we notice someone didn't get their fill, we'll happily let you stay after class for extra puppy snuggles.
Puppy wellbeing comes first — before tickets, before photos, before everything. Our puppies work in short sessions with plenty of water, rest breaks, and a quiet zone where any pup can nap. The breeder is either on site or nearby for any puppy needs, and we stay in close contact with them throughout. We even have a vet tech on our staff. Classes are capped, handling is supervised, and Christine — with her therapy dog training — keeps the calm. If a puppy is having an off day, they stay home.
Absolutely — most of our guests are beginners, and honestly, the puppies are a great equalizer. (It's hard to take your downward dog too seriously when an actual dog is playing under you.) Our certified yoga instructors lead every class at a gentle, beginner-friendly pace. Come for the yoga, stay for the cuddles.
Sixty minutes of happy: 30 minutes of beginner-friendly yoga while puppies roam the room, followed by 30 minutes of dedicated puppy play, cuddles, and photo ops. We bring the puppies and the yoga mats — you just show up.
Comfy clothes you can move in — and that you won't mind a puppy climbing on. We provide the mats, so all you really need is your ticket and your phone for photos. Pro tip: avoid dangly jewelry and drawstrings.
One important ask: if you've recently spent time with shelter puppies or a sick dog, please wear different clothing to class — or we're happy to move you to a different event. Viruses can travel on clothing, and young puppies have fragile immune systems.
True to our name, we pop up at some of the loveliest venues in the area — think boutique hotels, historic lofts, and vineyards across Stillwater, Dellwood, Woodbury, Roseville, Maple Grove, New Richmond, WI, River Falls, WI and Hudson, WI. We're picky about our spaces: bright, clean, spacious rooms that feel like a treat to walk into, because your hour with the puppies should feel special from the moment you arrive.
We love pups of all ages — human ones included — but for the safety of both kids and puppies, we ask that all guests meet the age guidelines listed on each event page. Age limits are set with each breeder's guidance, so they can vary from class to class.
Our venues are cleaned before and after every class, and our team handles any puppy "oopsies" immediately (it happens — they're babies!). If you have pet allergies, please plan accordingly: you will be thoroughly puppied. Hand-sanitizing stations are available at every event, and we also offer hypoallergenic classes.
Life happens — and our cancellation policy is built to be as flexible as we can make it. Due to the pop-up nature of our events, tickets are non-refundable, but if you're sick or have an emergency, you can transfer your ticket to another participant or receive a credit for a future puppy yoga class.
Weather happens too ☔🐾 — if we ever need to cancel a class for any reason, including inclement weather, you'll receive your choice of a full refund or a credit for a future class.
We do! Pop-Up Puppy Yoga gift cards work for any upcoming class with available tickets — perfect for birthdays, thank-yous, or the puppy-obsessed person in your life. Grab one here.
Yes — and it's a hit every time. We host private classes and Puppy Time events for corporate wellness days, team building, and client appreciation. Tell us about your event and we'll build something memorable.
Birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or large groups: we recommend purchasing the number of tickets needed for your group so everyone can participate together. As a thank-you, you'll receive $5 off each ticket when you subscribe to our website before booking. Planning a larger group? Email Christine@popup-puppy-yoga.com after purchasing your tickets so we know you're coming — we'd love to add a few free special touches and perks to make your group experience even more memorable!
We'd love to hear from you — reach out anytime, or join our email list for first access to new classes, featured breeds, and special offers. See you on the mat! 🐾
